A fly needing no introduction! Originally created in the early 1920’s by Leonard Hallady, the Adams has spawned a number of variations since; one of those is the Parachute Adams.
The Para Adams is simply one of those patterns which should be in every river angler’s fly box, and is an ‘all and nothing’ imitation. The parachute’s silhouette simply screams trout food, and the feedback I’ve received from a large number of clients proves that many would happily fish this as their sole fly should they ever be forced to choose.
Tied with buoyant superfine dubbing and high quality Whiting grizzle and brown rooster hackles.
